: Now, I read Nutrition Action and rear page feature on calorific processed foods (1200 for a Cinnabon, for example) My info says 730. I am skeptical of Nutrition Action newsletter Yeah, I'm relying on memory. NA's point is that one {processed/fast food} is basically a lot more calories than expected (eg, even at 730, 3 Cinnabon's means you're done for the day, calorie-wise.) I like their discussions of vitamins and supplements. Their food comparisons don't work well for me, since they rely on one's purchases of branded and somewhat processed foods. And I'm still mad at their chart of vegetable comparisons, because they not only aren't apples to apples (1/2 cup raw vegetable would be a LOT more helpful to me than mostly cooked except for the ones that are raw, unless they're comparing 2/3 cup or one clove, c'mon.
